The first graph shows the population in three countries china,India and US from the year 1950 to 2050.
In china, from 1950 to 1925 the population increased sharply,it's expected that the population will decrease.
In India, there is a rapid increased from 1950 and it will reached a peak by the year 1950 as it is expected.
In the US,the population starts to grow slowly in the period between 1993 to 2050.
The second graph presents the urbanisation in India and china in the rural and urban.
by the year 1950 the population in both countries in urban was under 100 and it starts to growing in both countries in urban by the year 1975.
it's expected that the population in china in the urban will reached the peak in 2030.
To conclude, the population is growing in china and india in urban so that means the urban is more attractive than rural.

The two line graphs give information about the population growth between 1950 and 2050 in three different countries and also compare the rate of orbanisation in India and China between 1950 and 2030.

The First graph shows the population growth in the US, India and China. Population in the US has gradually grown from just under 250m people in 1950 to just over this amount of people in 2005. It has been predicted that the population will continue increasing with the same trend to 350m people in 2050.
Population in India and China Had significantly gone up from 1950 to 2005. a sharp increase of population of India in 2050 to about 1.500m has been projected. Also It has been predicted that there will be a slight increase followed by a decrease in the population of China between 2005 and 2050.

Second graph shows that both urban and rural population of India Increased gradually between 1950 and 2005. Theses increases will continue until 2050 according to predictions.
Rural population of china also had gone up between 1950 and 2005 and It picked to just above 800m in 1990 before a slight decrease to 750m in 2005. It has been predicted that this decrease will continue between 2005 and 2050.

Over all there had been an increase in the population of the US, China and India and these trends will continue according to forecasts.
Also in India and China there was an Increase in both rural and urban population, except the population of china that had decreased from 1990.

the two line graphs compares and gives information about the population and urbanisation in india and china during 1950-2050. graph [a ]gives an overview information of how the population growth has increased in inmdia ,china and america. chart [b] shows the rates of urban people living in india and china.

from graph [a] we can see that the population of china in 1950 is 500 millions and it has gone up significantly to 1350 millions of people till 2030 approxiamately and remained stable for a decade then starts declining. but in india it stood nearly at 400millions of people in 1950 and continues peakly beyond the projections. there is a gradual in population of americans since 1950 to 2050 where it has reached only below 500 millions of people. from graph [b] we can see that the both india and china peoples has started with same urbanisation rate and ends up with widespread in their rates. india and china has roused approxiamately at 70 millions of urbanisation and increased gradually until 1985 where china splits and raised steeply to 900 millions by 2030 whereas in india has inclined gradually to 600 millions in2030.

to sum up from both graphs ,both the population growth and urbanisation rate never declines

PostSubject: Population Growth versus Urbanisation   Tue Aug 04, 2009 3:24 pm

The first graph shows population growth in three countries namely India, China and U.S. The United States evidently shows that it remained constant in its population for the past 50 years. Even statistics projects that the state will remain and still manage the same population until 2050. In india, there is a gradual yearly increase of population since 1950 until 2005.Statistics projects that these increase will still continue and will reached a population of over 1500 million in year 2050.Last but not the least is China. Graph shows that it had already reached almost more than 1250 million population in year 2005, but statistics projects that there will be no increase in population by the year 2020 up to 2040. In addition to this China will be experiencing gradual decrease in population beginning 2045 until 2050.

The second graph shows urbanisation in India and China. As you can see both countries compared the population in their rural and urban areas. In India Rural, the graph shows yearly gradual increase of population since 1950 and this scenario will still be the same until 2050 but will have some slight decrease in number by year 2030. China compared to India had a gradual decrease of population since 1995 until 2005. It is projected that population in rural china will abruptly decrease until year 2030.
Remarkably, urban areas in both countries shows that the increase in population will still continue until 2030 particularly China urban which will have almost 900 million people by that time.
