PostSubject: PLEAE CHECK FOR ME, THANKS   Wed Mar 26, 2008 7:40 pm

Everybody has their own mainstream in their goal life. To achieve the goal, they sometimes are obliged do something they donít like. That is the truth that everyone needs to overcome.
There are simply understood. For example, a person whose goal wants to be a businessman, his own path will be different with the path that the person takes to be a doctor. As we know being a doctor is a difficult long path which takes more years, but we also need to follow it because that is his goal.
As a University student who hardly study all night. We simply thing he like to study. The answer is no. NO one wants to study all night long. Who donít want to go shopping, play games, watching TV? It is just about the time. University time is a hard time that every student persists to study in order to get highly graduation.
Another example is from my experience, when I was young I did anything I liked. In studying, I also didnít go to school every day, but everything was still fine. As like I thought, the life is normal and easy, but I was wrong. Time is elapsed. My mind was opened when I was more mature. I was thinking about my future. Engineer is what I want to be. My head curved between my dream and what I am now. That awaked me up. I cannot do what I like when I were a young boy. It is the time I need to change myself even though I donít like it.
In brief, Our life is various. Anything is inevitable. Even though we it is what we likess or dislike, we have to confront it, go throuhg the hard time and we improve our self. That is the life.

PostSubject: People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doi   Sun Apr 06, 2008 1:44 am

I agree with this sentence for various reasons.

First, we live in a very interdependent society where everyone is specialised in a particular field. However, there are still activities that everyone must do. For instance, activities related to household: everyone must prevent some depletion of its house. If the roof falls on a walker in the street, the owner will be responsible. This is an important idea to introduce. Because people have some responsibilities regarding the society, they have to do things they do not enjoy. However, the richer people are, the less they take care themselves. Indeed, they are still responsible but they can find employees to carry out the practical actions.

Second, it is almost impossible to always avoid boring things. Who has never done something he or she dislikes? Thus, it can be useful to broaden the perspective: during a quite long period, everything balances. For example, on holidays with friends, I was responsible for the garbage bins. That was not pretty interesting. On the other hand, I did not pay attention to the swimming pool cleaning. In other words, when the boring things are split between different persons, it seems easier to accept.

In conclusion, thanks to the organization of our societies, we can decrease the number of boring things we have to do. According to our means, we can help each other, exchange services or even pay people to do that for us. However, since we have rights, we have got some obligations as well. For some of those, we are always responsible and so more susceptible to deal with them, annoying or not.

Mostly, people do things that they do like and never show desire to do the things that they do not like. I am of opinion that people should sometime do things that they do not like. The following reason explains the reason behind my opinion.

To begin with, if people always do things that they like then they are limiting the fund of life itself. For example, I never like to sweat. Nevertheless, if I should to go to fitness center to keep my health perfect then I will sweat. If I do not go to the gym then my health might get affected. Therefore, once I decided to go to the gym. Yet, I realized that it helps me not only to keep body healthy but also to relax my mind. If I had not gone to the fitness center then I would never have realized the value of exercise.

Secondly, sometime by doing things that we donít like, we often start liking it. As I explained in the above example, I started going to the gym often. Then, despite of the sweating after gym, I started liking it because of the other benefits that I started getting from exercise. This convinced me to go to gym everyday. Later, I did not stop here but started playing games which I used to avoid earlier because of sweating problem.

Thirdly, by doing things which we do not prefer, we may discover new hobby. Lets suppose that I had never tried fitness center then I would never have played sports. Only after going to gym, I started playing sports. Then playing tennis became my new hobby.

In sum, it is better that sometime we do things that we do not like. However, up to some extent we should evaluate that whatever we are trying to do is not harmful to us or society. For example, one should never try to smoke only because one has never tried it.

People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing.

Different people will give different opinions about this statement from their own character, emotional concerns, cultures, works and even educational background. However, when it comes to me I strongly support this statement. My arguments for this topic are listed as follows.
First of all, There are a lot of duties that all of us do them in our daily life. Some of these duties do not enjoy us but we do them for many considerations such as doing homework with our children. There are many times that I feel so tired in my daily work at university but I can not leave my role as a mother and as a wife. Sometime I do many things in my life and I do not enjoy doing them.
Second, a lot of student do not like to get up early to go to school. In addition, they do not like to take tests. They wish to spend all their times using computer and net . But they go to school and study hard to get high marks and to complete theirs studies.
Admittedly, not every thing enjoys us we should do but we must adapt ourselves according to our time, work and our social traditions.

All in all, if all these reasons are contemplated we can easily reach a conclusion that everyone can do some things that enjoy him but at the same time there are some conditions in our daily life constraint him to do things that do not enjoy him.

PostSubject: please reveiw my essay   Mon Apr 14, 2008 6:58 am

The issue being held is should we do things that we don't like doing sometimes? This is an important topic because not all we want are good for us. I believe that we have to do some things that we don't want.

The first reason why I think we should do things we don't enjoy is that to get along well with other people. In my case, I do not like attending gatherings and family occasions. I only want to stay at home and watch TV instead of going out. But, I know this is not good. As a single person, I have to go out and socialize with other colleagues and meet new friends. In this way I can grow as an individual by sharing my ideas with other poeple.

I hate doing exercise, for me this is a big torture if you will make me walk in the threadmill even for 10 minutes. This is the second reason why i think we should do things we don't like sometimes. Exercising is very essencial to our health, I know that yet I don't like doing it knowing its importance to my well being. So, since exercising is necessary for me to become healhty, I have to do it once in a while even if I dont like to do so.

Lastly, I have to do things that I don't like to please my loved ones. For example, my aunt loves to go to one particular jewerly shop and she always wants me to be with her. I never liked going to that shop because it is so boring and I can not afford to buy any of those jewelries neither. But, I love my aunt and I want to please her and accompany her so even if I dont feel like going, I have to go.

For the reasons and examples I have stated, people should do sometimes things that they do not like doing. This is because it is good for them and to give happiness and support for their dear ones.

There are several situations in everyday life in which people are compelled to behave or act in contrary with what they would like to do.
Though it may sounds strange, we all have experienced this situation or part of it in our lives.
Generally people act according to their logic and type of personality. So, if someone tries to insult you , you would react with all your means.
But let's imagine a situation when you are robbed inside a bank or in the corner of your house and the thief tries to steal from you. After the resistance that you make, he starts to yell and saying offensive things to you. In a normal situation for example, I would yell him back and say the same things, but in the situation I am describing, it is different. From the fear of getting hurt I would stop talking and just listen to him.

In a less dramatic situation than the above mentioned, I would describe the case when we have to say a lie to someone , because the truth might be very bitter.
For example, regarding the physical appearance of a colleague, you must say a compliment, when you really do not think the same . But you have to do that because, if you say the truth , it hurts.
In a more complex situation , I would mention the case when we have to do jobs that are not appropriate for our physic, background etc but we have to do because of the poor financial situation. Once I had to exercise the waitress in a restaurant, thing which I did not enjoy at all.
As a conclusion, sometimes we have to come out of ourselves, but being optimistic everything is a new experience.

PostSubject: independent writing-people don't enjoy...   Wed Apr 16, 2008 3:28 pm

I agree with the statement that ''people should sometimes do things that they don't enjoy''.their are several reasons to support this point.
In certain situations we do things that we are forced to do. an example for this is if a person is working in a company and if he is working under a boss, then he should obey his commands and do the work what he had assigned to him.this is a situation in an working environment.when this comes to relationships like husband and wife relationship, people have arguments and lot of issues going on between them.in that both may not be interested in doing certain things which they really don't enjoy.for example if a woman is a vegetarian and when she get married to a man who is an non vegetarian, then she is forced to cook or sometimes eat non vegetarian foods, even if she don't enjoy either eating or cooking.in this she does her job because she is bonded in that relationship.some husbands they don't force them to eat or cook but some do.and also certain characters ,habits which may be present in one of them and the other person do not like that but they have to adjust and accept because they want to continue in their family life hoping things will change.
another example, when we apply to a college that is when we apply for two programs in a college and if we don't get the course which we prefer we ought to choose the course that we got.even if we don't enjoy studying that subject we tend to study because we don't want to waste a year that would delay our future career.
all of these depend on the persons attitude and tolerability.
so i believe the statement that people don't enjoy doing something that they do.

PostSubject: Essay   Sun Apr 20, 2008 10:56 am

People always tend to stick to things that they like doing. For example, if there is homework to do, a student would often skip his exercises in order to watch TV instead. In a situation like this, parents might often argue ďIt is also important for you, to do something, you do not enjoy doing!Ē, being probably right with this statement. Though itís not always a pleasure, sometimes it is necessary for people, to do things which they donít like.

To begin with, there are many things in peopleís lives that really have to be done though nobody enjoys doing them. To illustrate that point, you could mention cleaning the house, washing the dishes or caring for the garden, which are certainly things, that everybody hates but that are essential if you want to live in a society. If you didn't clean your house anymore, visitors would be shocked seeing all the dirt and would consider you as a strange or unnormal person. Same goes for washing the dishes or caring for the garden Ė it is quite difficult to imagine what other people would think of a person not caring for a house at all. So these are tasks for everybody that can obviously not be enjoyed doing but have to be fulfilled.

Furthermore, there are things you do not enjoy doing now, but which will have a positive effect in the future: Nobody really likes going to a doctor, but if you never have your body checked, there is a risk of being ill without noticing it. Thus, going to a doctor regularly improves your chances of having a healthy - and therefore happy Ė life in the future. Similarly, going to school is not always a pleasure, but it pursues the aim of writing good exams in order to get a good job afterwards, which is essential for succeeding in our society today.

To put it all in a nutshell, the examples mentioned above show that there are not only duties that really need to be done, but also things that have their effect only in the future. All in all, you could therefore argue, that it is sometimes necessary for people, to do things which they do not enjoy doing. Additionally, if you do something unpleasant that is neither a real duty nor has a direct positive effect on the future, itís still useful in order to keep the fact in mind that mankind wouldnít have survived if everybody had only done things that he/she enjoyed doing and thus get used to do also unpleasant things.

PostSubject: Re: Free iBT independent writing task submission   Fri Apr 25, 2008 2:14 pm

It is a fact that people in their lives face a lot of situations when they should do something they do not get pleasure from. Even children early realize that a number of things we like is limited so it becomes necessary to be prepared for unpleasant activities. In my opinion, one of the vital skills in our life is to get ready that not only enjoyable things occur.

First of all, it is impossible to achieve a demanding goal in your career as well as in a personal life without "life assignments" you do not fully enjoy. For example, if you are going to be promoted to a division manager position, will you reject this offer for the reason "I do not like giving orders to others"? My strongest belief is that most probably a person will find ways to muster new skills and techniques rather that decline such promotion.

The other thing is that people often simply do not know what they really like! Furthermore it is possible to lose plenty of life opportunities by doing only what you are fond of. Sometimes it needs time to look into the subject and find out its interesting and demanding part. Take for instance, college subjects for students. At the beginning of the course you can hate literature but after reading a number of books you can get inspired.

And the last but not least is that in spite of human tendency to look for pleasant things it extremely encourages us when reaching the highest result in the field we are not good at or even fond of. As a result, it increases our confidence.

In conclusion, people's behavior and results to some extent are influenced by their preferences to a particular area or task. But it is obviously that you will hardly ever accomplish considerable results in your life without gaining skills to be successful in different tasks. Thus, motivating yourself to come over obstacles will bring you a self confidence and an opportunity to enjoy almost everything you try

PostSubject: What life is all about   Fri May 02, 2008 12:45 am

People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing.

I agree with this statement, because the truth is that life should be a combination about what you like and what you do not like, besides how are you going to know what you enjoy or don't enjoy if you don't experiment both things.

ďSometimesĒ is the key word for this statement. Because you often should do thing that you enjoy, otherwise your life would be miserable and you will be a very frustrated person that will not be happy, and probably will make the other persons that live near you less happy.

The truth is that often you learn more from the things that you do not enjoy, and they are the ones that form you, they help you to grow and learn things about yourself and from everything that surrounds you. With the things that you do not enjoy you gain experience, you will develop a wider vision of the world.

When you do things that you do not enjoy, you may end up surprising yourself. For example, I love scriptwriting and film directing, but now I am working as a Journalist in a community news paper, and the things that I have learned in there are very gratified. It was not something that I enjoyed when I began but after I spent weeks working there, and I met my co-workers and the dynamic of working in a newspaper I started to enjoy and learned so much, that right now I can say that I also love journalism.

People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy. They should expand their minds and experiment different things so when they look back they will know that they explored all the possibilities and have lived their lives in a proper way.

PostSubject: Re: Free iBT independent writing task submission   Fri May 09, 2008 11:54 am

I'm going to explain why people sometimes should do things that they do not enjoy doing.
In my experience people usually avoid doing things that they don't enjoy. There are many reasons for this behaviour. My favourite explanation is, that people act this way, because they try to make the best of now. They are keen on maximizing their benefit on the short run.

Here is an scenario for a situation in which you have two alternatives how to act:
Imagine your tax filing for the last year is still pending and you expect to get a tax refund. Imagine you have two alternatives:
Alternative one is that you do your tax filing now. You need to spend half a day, filling in forms, which means no fun at all and get the tax refund about 3 monts after you filed the tax return.

Alternative two is that you visit friends and have a barbecue with them.
What would you prefer?

From my point of view it is crucial which time frame you take as a basis to decide which alternative is better. On the short run I have the higher benefit in visiting my friends. On the long run, it's better to do the tax filing as soon as possible because this is something you usually have to do anyway. The sooner you do it, the sooner you get the money back and can buy something.

Another example is if you should do a diet. In this case are the alternatives - "eating now" or "loosing weight later".

The way of thinking in the short run is a result of the fact that we never know for sure, if we can enjoy the benefit in the long run because life isn't endless. I come to the conclusion that people should sometimes do things, that they do not enjoying. But only sometimes. I think the trick is to balance both - doing not enjoyable things if they are useful later and avoid them for the sake of the immediate benefit - in a sensible way.

eople sometimes are forced to do things that they don't enjoy as a part of their life responsibilities , also people do things to have a nice high paying job, or as a part of their job tasks . Also, people get used to pdoing this things by time and sometimes they begin to enjoy doing it .

first of all, sometimes life forces us to do things that we do not enjoy or even like . after marriage , parents have to take care of their children and take care of their houses , even after havening a long day at work , the mother have to cook a nice meal for her husband and children , on the other side , the father have to study with his children and clean the house .

the second reason ,people sometimes do things they do not like as apart of their job tasks , so that they can have their job and get promoted to higher position . for example , i remember when i was working as a pharmacist , i had to do some accountant jobs like calculating the total cost of the medicine , i didn't like doing that , but at the same time i had to do it because it is a part of my job , and to keep my high paying job i had to do things that i hate .
last but not least ,life responsibilities, raising a family and havening a nice job sometimes forced people to do things that they don't like or even hate

PostSubject: Another kind of enjoyment   Wed Jun 04, 2008 12:00 pm

Sometimes, there is no choice in life so you have to do things that you do not enjoy doing. Even if I was given a choice and I had the freedom to choose, I would still agree with this statement.

I have only one life and I plan to enjoy spending it as long as I do not harm other people. Some people spent their whole life pleasing others. You might say it wasnít enjoyable but I say that by pleasing others, they actually get something in return. Other people like them, other people appreciate them and other people remember them. Being appreciated, being remembered, and being liked are joy, arenít they? Thatís to say, those who want to please others are also enjoy the consequence even though the act itself is not so enjoyable.

The concept is quite hard grasp. So let me give a practical example, your best friend asked you to help her prepare for her exam when you know very well that you donít like to teach or tutor other people. You find it very annoying. Nevertheless, you still do it for your friend anyway. Why? Because you enjoy having the company of your friend, the appreciation from your friend, so you decided to help her. It would even make you happier when you see your friend pass the exam and spend more time with you during the break. Thatís why I say you help your best friend because you enjoy its consequence, even though, not the action.

I agree with this opinion because some times we had to do the things some we dont like.for example some are not intrested to study and they are intrested in sports but there family is a middle class family at that time they will study if there are not intrested also .so some things we had to accept it if they are not intrested also.so i agree with this opinion.they are some advantages and disadvantages.the advantages for this is my taking intresting topic what we had like so from that we can achive goals.the disavdantage for this is if we take intresting topic we should have intrest to study that is main thing.for children i think they should depend on their parents because they dont know about their life.so i agree with this opinion also

People usually indulge in activities they like or enjoy. But sometimes they are asked to do some work which they dont like and so they just do it for the sake of doing and the result of that work done is generally not that good. That is if the person does some work that he/she likes then they put in their better effort compared to the work they dont enjoy or like.
So people should do things that they dont enjoy and if one does this regularly ,he/she will start enjoying the things which they didnt enjoy before.
Doing the things that one doesnt like also tells about the will power he/she has. This increases one's will power and tolerance power. So completely agree that people should sometimes do things they dont enjoy.
Everything in this world does not happen according to my wish,so i sometimes i haveto do things which is not liked by me but might be my family or friends would enjoy seeing me do that.
Sometimes doing the things which i enjoy may hurt my closed ones and which in turn would upset me only. Thus it would be better if i sometimes do things that i dont like.

Our life is full of activities Ė ones are those that we love doing, some of them even become our hobbies. Though others do not give us so much satisfaction, or some of them we even hate doing. However, some things are nessecery to do, despite loving them or not.

To begin with, most people have jobs. Though only the lucky ones get the job they like entirely. The vast majority daily encounter some tasks that they like, and some that are not so pleasant to them. If you work under pressure, or you are not the boss for yourself, you have to work on these tasks no matter whether you like them or not.

Secondly, only a hard work brings some fruits. All mature people understand that a hard work is always appreciated and honored. I am well aware of many people working hard but being still poor, though I believe that God bless them and they will find their happiness in true, not material way.

Furthermore, there is no such unrespected behaviour than a man being lazy. Laziness is all it comes from choosing not to do things that you do not enjoy. This kind of person will never be accepted as a good worker, useful citizen or family maintainer. In my opinion, this kind of person sooner or later will come to face with some psychological problems for not playing any part of his/her role in his/her life.

To sum up, all the people with high aspirations will definitely come across things they do not enjoy. All of those things will be a challenge for them and it will lead them either to a fortune or a failure. In this case I firmly agree with the statement, as I am the one of these persons and have already experienced it myself.

Author concedes that people should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing. I strongly support this statement, by stating following reasons:

Firstly, I would like to start with a simple example of a boy, who don't like eating leafy vegetables, which is important for his eye sight and mental growth. His parents make him eat it regularly so that he gets used to it, which helps the boy in his long run.

Secondly, in my case, I am a researcher and I don't like writing reports. Even though I don't like it, I have to do it as its also an integral part of the researcher though its not a significant part. If I stop doing it, my research won't get published and all the work done would hold no value.

Similarly, many of the software developers like to write the software code but aren't willing to test it. As, testing is a bit boring work, but then without proper testing of his software, it won't give expected results and no one will use it ultimately. So, it becomes mandatory for a software engineer to properly test his software even though he doesn't likes doing it.

In conclusion, I would like to say that people should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing. You can do some other enjoyable things along with these not likable things, so that you don't feel bored of doing them.

We all have to do several things in our life. It does not matter what ever we like or not. In my view all of us sometimes do things that we do not enjoy. This may be for earning money for our day to day life or for getting a decent job.

All people need money to run their family life. This requires sometimes to do things what we do not like. For example a man who is working as a technician in any firm should sometimes take garbage and need to dispose it. Most of the technicians does not like the bad smell of garbage. But they have to do this even though they do not enjoy. Another situation we can consider is that sometimes we have to work under strict boss. Even though all of us do not like this we have to do this in our daily life. So for earning money it is necessary to do sometimes something we do not like.
Another reason for doing things that we do not like is that for getting a better job. For example consider myself. When I was at school I do not like studying at all. But my parents forced me to do that by saying, only a better educated man can get a better job. So I started studying even though I does not enjoy studying and this leads me getting a good job.

In short all have to do many things in our life whatever we enjoy it or not. We do this either to keep our family running or to attain certain goals like good jobs. Anyway it is a fact that all people should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy in order to run their life in a better way.

All great things come at a cost, typically that cost would be spending a lot of time studying or training instead of playing or resting, since lot of hard work is needed to achieve personal goals.
I do believe that people should do things they do not like to do, doing things we do not like is part of growing up and it has a great influence on shaping the personality of a person. For example, a child might like to spend the most of his time playing or watching TV instead of studying or doing some educating activity. This will cause the child to grow up as a poorly educated person with no future. This will have an adverse effect on both him and the community around himself, since his contribution to the society will be limited.
Similarly, in the adult world an adult finds himself in situations were he has to do things he does not like to do in order to achieve certain goals or to overcome a crisis. An example that I have personally experienced is that I had to work and study at the same time. I had to do that to come up with the money needed to pay my university fees, working during my study time was certainly something I did not like to do, I would have rather spent my time with my collegues having fun and doing activities. However, that would have meant that I would have dropped out of college because I could not pay the fees. I continued to work and study and as a result I was able to graduate and evolve to become a hard working, highly skilled contributing member of my society.
As a conclusion, I do believe that doing things we do not like doing has a great effect on us. At most times, those tasks we do not like doing have the greatest effect on us.

There are so many people in the world. Each and every person are different from each other. Their responces are behavior are varried by the culture and also by the society. Even people need to do something which they want not to do. If their minds are controlled by themselves they can easily avoid these situation which they do not want to do.

Psychologicaly determind and strong person can avoid such of these problems. Whenever a person need to something different far away with his culture or mind, they need to do it efficiently by their mind. Everyone has a controlled section in their own mind and by these they can skip or get escape from some unavoidable situation.

To suffer from indecission incidents is one kind of mental disease which we need to remove immediately. When a person consist of this problem, he wants appropriate decission. Even it delights the person or not. So, this can easily avoidable for anyone if he does not want to do. Suffering from desonance might be a problem for that.

When a person does not want to do anything, he should not do this thing against his mind. He can easily avoid such of these problems. So, we can say that when a person has to do something against his mind, that time he can avoid it or can find out an another way to do this.

I agree with the idea that sometimes in life we have to do things that we donít like to do. To begin with, itís pertinent to say that life is a long road which is full of an endless number of sensations and situations, which can be marked by sadness or happiness. Those emotions vary from person to person, depending of everyoneís tastes.

Itīd would be wonderful if all the activities that we have to do were related to our preferences; but unfortunately they are not. This idea is evident from the very beginning of our lives. For example, when I was a child, I used to hate
Vegetables and I remember that my mother always made me eat them. Now, I am an adult, and I thank her for doing so, because that helped me to be a healthier person. This is a simple example that proves that itís necessary to carry out activities that sometimes we donít want to do.

Similarly, this kind of situations happens when the kids are in school and they have to study several subjects related to various topics. Usually, they donít like a particular subject, but they have to take it in order to pass the year. These subjects are mandatory and itís inevitable to skip them.

In the same way, as adults, the people have to face situations that theyíd prefer to avoid. For instance, several professionals have a job which is not related to the studies that they took at college or university. These people must work in these fields that they donít like because they need the money.

The examples mentioned previously, show a few cases where we have to face situations that we donít enjoy. These moments cause us sadness, but unfortunately they are absolutely necessary in life. The best way to deal with them is trying to find a positive thing from them.

PostSubject: People should sometimes do things they do not enjoy doing   Wed Jul 09, 2008 6:40 am

I would like to express my views in favor of the statement,'People should sometimes do things they do not enjoy doing'. Whenver given a choice, each one of us would prefer to do things we enjoy doing. However, we do not get this choice very often. Since, there are many tasks which needs to be performed for leading a good life, one should realise the necessity of these mundane tasks one indulge in most of the times.

For instance, gaining knowledge or education is the first and foremost requirement of an individual. Despite of the awareness of this fact, almost every child despise going to school. In fact I, myself used to hate studying, especially, during exams. However, for survival in the competitive world of today one has to be the part of the race. That is why, no matter, how displeased one feel completing education is must.

Another example, in favor of the topic would be of a person, who has just recovered from an illness but hates to take the precautions like eating less spicey food or avoiding alcohol, just because, he doesnot enjoys them. In these circumstances, it is necessary for him to consider the preacutions adviced by the doctor, irrespective of whether, he enjoys it or not.
Furthermore, one can imagine the situation, where a doctor would stop seeing patients, just because he doesnot enjoy it anymore, or, maybe the policeman refusing to give his duty, as he doesnot find it amusing. Thus, it can be sensed from these example that one should not shun away from the responsibilities in pretext of dislike.

Considering, all of the above examples I would like to summarise, by stating that it is necessary for all of us to realise the importance of the things that are required to be done and should work for the fulfillment of the task, irrespective of the liking or disliking fo the task.

People should sometimes do things that they do not enjoy doing.

It is a nature intrinsic in humans to want to do only the things they want to do, such as when you're on your way to attend a class got class, an ice cream van stops right next to you and you're hungry. It's natural to want to stop and line up behind the queue, and get the ice-cream. However, going to class on time is a responsibility one should not let go of. So, it is also encouraged that one be responsible. In fact, that is what most people would do occasionally, doing things that they relatively don't enjoy doing as much. Like this, I strongly believe that there are often times when one should put aside their desires, to perform tasks, even ones they don't favor doing. The reasoning behind this is that such a practice would lead to success, and inner self-development.

PostSubject: PEOPLE DO THINGS WHETHER THEY LIKE OR NOT   Thu Jul 17, 2008 2:55 pm

i would say YES,we will do some things which we like it or not.
Here i would like mention one example many students to pursue higher education they visit different countries leaving there friends ,parents
what i feel is every human leads a comprised life once in a lifetime. If not for ourselves than for others we need to do.when we are in adolescent stage we need make our parents happy, in adult stage we need to make our friends ,family members happy.
example for this is we wont like some pictures but to make our friends happy we will do that.
most of the people they will have there own interest but end up in another professsion which they wont dream of.
example for this would be some students like music but to meet there daily needs they need take some jobs.
so my conclusion here is every individual in his life time has to do some things in which he wont enjoy.

First of all I would like to say that "Yes" I do agree with the statement which has been mentioned through the question.

In fact, regarding the question for doing some things obligatory and without any consent, it is needless to say that this is a normal situation for every people around the world and in different levels, ages, and positions.

There is a variety of reasons by which w face with such a situations in our daily life. For example, I am a student of International Environmental Law in Master degree and I am fully interested to work on the relevant areas of the environmental law, specifically in the international level, but because of unemployment and my financial situation which is not satisfactory, I am working in some other places and areas which are not related to my expertise and course of study and this is the most catastrophic situation which could happen.

Therefore we can see that how is possible when we are living in a society in which we have no any option to be engaged in those areas which we are luckily professional to work.

So, with regard to the fact which I mentioned, I would like to say that I do agree with this matter and in my view it is a generic matter for all the people on their routinely programs.

Another additional reason for this kind of matter could not be specifically economical or financially.

Finally I believe that we need to understand that this is a unique requirement for our life because of our ambitions and aspirations.
